Before introducing Phenix Mini Emergency Lighting Inverter 184600 please let me have a simple introduction on our brand positioning of products, Phenix Lighting is positioning in the world top class emergency lighting power supply for the North America market. Phenix Lighting is the only Chinese company which has obtained the U.S. patent protection for the emergency dimming technology used in the emergency lighting Inverters. Phenix Lighting sticks to constant innovation on the products design, following the strict high quality standards and internal testing process without compromise. Our target customers have always been those share our commitment to product quality and performance.
Back to our Mini Emergency Lighting Inverter 184600 – As all Phenix Inverters, it produces pure sinusoidal AC output (sine waveform) just as that produced by AC mains power. Phenix inverters have passed all European and American standards (CE/EMC, LVD, cULus, FCC, CEC Title 20). To make both safe and compact mini inverters, through repeated experiments, we finally chose world leading brand Li-ion battery, aluminum alloy shell, safer and more reliable circuit design with multiple protections, all key components including IC, MOS, battery cell and etc. are all from top international brands, with battery charge and discharge protection settings. A min. 90 minutes discharging duration at temperature 0℃-50℃ can be guaranteed during 5 years quality warranty period.
Phenix inverters allow designated lamps or lighting fixtures (loads) to serve as code-compliant emergency lighting sources during failure of normal AC power.
Phenix Emergency Lighting Inverters work with a variety of lighting systems (e.g., LED, fluorescent) and lamp types (e.g., LED strip system, Edison-based, fluorescent linear, CFL). In addition, they are suitable for almost any applications, including wind & marine energy, retail, commercial, hospitality, schools, healthcare and etc. Emergency lighting inverters are an excellent choice for use with multiple fixtures and in cases where emergency LED drivers cannot be used, such as with integral-base lamps. They also offer the advantage of long-distance remote installation.
No need to change the original wiring of the lamps/fixtures when using the inverters, just need to connect it behind the mains power supply box, all the lamps/fixtures connect to it on will be with emergency function; this will greatly facilitate the field application of end users. 184600 has auto dimming (0-10V) function, if the total load is 36W or less, the output emergency power is equal to the load power. As the lumen output of emergency lighting can be lower than normal lighting, no need up to sufficient power so as to save cost, therefore, 184600’s 0-10V dimming function demonstrate its excellence – 184600 can load 360W Max. 0-10V dimmable lamps or lighting fixtures, equivalent to 10 times of the rated emergency power.
184600 features a constant output power of Max. 36W, when the 0-10V load is over 36W, in emergency mode, inverter will Auto lower the load power to be within 36W. For instance:
- To be connected with a 72W 0-10V load, in emergency mode, inverter will auto adjust the power to 50%, that is 36W;
- To be connected with different powers of loads with total power of 72W – one is 36W, the other two are 18W, in emergency mode, proportionally, 36W is dimmed to18W, 18W dimmed to 9W, which is in total of 36W.
According to the U.S. law, monthly test and annual test are required for emergency lighting products so as to make sure the emergency lighting unit can keep working normally. All Phenix inverters feature Auto Test function so as to save the cost of manual maintenance: The first monthly Auto Test will be conducted sometime between 24 hours and 7 days after the mains is switched on. Afterwards, a monthly Auto Test every 30 days, and an annual Auto Test every 52 weeks after first powered on. Monthly Auto test time is about 30 seconds, and Annual Auto test time is about 90 minutes.
